Hi all,

The Hedwig in a Box fan club site is official under "archive" mode. Wanda, our fantastic webmisstress is no longer adding new content. However, we have taken the time to preserve the board here for historical purposes.

Many questions have been asked and answered here, and this board serves as a wealth of information concerning Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

I doubt the original artwork is for sale.

The artwork is not an integeral part of the show. When I did it, I had only a couple of things drawn on large pages that Yizhak held up (I had $0 budget!). The show that's in Calgary right now has 4 TVs around the set that show videos throughout the show (I hope to have photos by the end of the week), and most of them were done with funny puppets, at least the Origin Of Love scene. Hedwig's diary was a real, oversized, diary with artwork, and Yitzhak held it up and flipped through the pages. You could also do something with powerpoint and an LCD projector. It all depends on you imagination, your budget, and who you have to help you.

Hello, everyone. New here.

Hopefully, I will be doing a production of Hedwig in the Fall or Winter at Stanford, and one of my major concerns is the large amount of artwork slides that are projected throughout the show. Does anyone know if these have to be specifically created for the show each time by whoever is doing it or if there is somewhere that I could purchase the artwork used in the original productions? Any advice would be appreciated.

The show was AWESOME!! The band rocked, and Geoffrry (Hedwig) and Jamie (Yitzhak) were amazing!

I didn't get any photos....yet! But I made plans with the director to go back and get some later, hopefully on stage with the whole band.

It's almost 1:00am, and I gotta work in the morning, so I'll write more later. (Did I mention that I got mentioned in the "Thank You's" in the program?! Thanks Kelly!) )

Right at the scene splitting from Hedwig breaking down/freaking out at Bildgewaters then cutting over to Tommy Gnosis singing ...

Right as Hedwig crawled out there was a backbeat of sounds/noise/words spoken by Hedwig..
What was spoken?
It's driving me nuts.

i guess the theatre hasn't had a show in awhile, and the company who ran it doesn't own it anymore. i don't think anyone is really taking care of it right now. i guess i'll just have to ask Hotel Riverview if i can check out their ex-ballroom. and oh yes...i am prepared and willing to beg, with optional tears...
